DESCRIPTION:Join Touch4Life Founder and President Laura Crandon at the State of Black Health conference to speak on “The Messenger Matters: Building Cross-Sector Partnerships for Cancer Prevention and Control.” \nCancer is a major issue affecting the Black community\, particularly at younger ages. This session features a conversation about how to promote cancer prevention and control in Black communities by forming partnerships across community\, academia\, and industry. Key objectives of this session include forging effective partnerships\, elevating community narratives\, creating messaging that resonates with our communities. \nState of Black Health is where hundreds of community leaders and equity advocates from every background come to address and find solutions for the social and economic injustices that have marginalized our communities and led to deep health disparities. \nUse the event hashtags #SBH2023 and #Stateofblackhealth to create social media buzz and engage with attendees!
