Breast cancer causes more deaths than any other ty Breast cancer causes more deaths than any other type of cancer, especially in Black women.

Black women are 41% more likely to die from breast cancer than white women. This is because they are usually diagnosed during later stages, when treatments are less beneficial.

Black women are also more susceptible to genetic mutations, like BRCA1, which can lead to triple-negative breast cancer.

There are many different types of breast cancer. T There are many different types of breast cancer. Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) accounts for about 10 to 15% of all breast cancers. These cancers tend to be more common in women younger than age 40, women who are Black, or who have a BRCA1 mutation.

Black women are more susceptible to Triple-negative breast cancer or basal-like breast cancer. This type of cancer is not sensitive to hormones like estrogen or progesterone.

It also does not produce too much of the growth-promoting protein called HER2, which makes it difficult to treat.
